After breakfast trek to Tungnath with packed lunch. Tungnath is situated at the height of 3680 mts from the sea level. The trek is three kms upward. Enroute you will find lush green meadows and you can see the range of snowcapped Himalayas. Chandrashila offers the view of Nanda Devi , the highest peak in India. Return in the evening for a god night’s rest.

Chopta an unspoiled natural beauty destination lying in the laps of Uttarakhand Himalayas offer amazing views of the imposing Himalayan range like Mandani Parvat, Satopanth, Bhagirathi, Sumeru, Kedar Dome, Rock Tower, Thalay Sagar, Jogin, Gangotri including Chaukhamba. It is popularly known as the base camp for the Tungnath - Chandrashila Trek.
Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world and is one of the five and the highest Panch Kedar Temples located in the mountain range of Tungnath in Rudra prayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The temple is believed to be 1000 yr old.
Chandrashila temple or peak is just 1.5 km far from Tunagnth Temple. It is situated 4000m above sea level. Chandrashila peak gives you amazing 360 degree view of the Chaukhamba, Kedarnath and Trishul Peak
It is a serene meadow hidden in the dense forests of Chopta Valley. It is one of the most peaceful spots. You can pamper your eyes, heart, mind and soul with a spectacular view of lofty peaks and forests. This region is also frequented by bird watchers as you can spot variety of Himalayan birds and migratory birds.
It is a lake located 2.3kms up hill from the village of Sari on the Chopta road. The lake is known for its beautiful panoramic views of mountains like Chaukhamba in its backdrop. Deoriatal holds religious significance in the Hindu mythos as the fabled Indra Taal where Pandavas were queried by th eYakshas. There are trekking route to Chopta available from this point.
Most travelers believe that Chopta is the ideal trekking destination all year around. Best time to travel to Chopta is in summers (April–June) and winters (Oct–Dec).
